Bayelsa: Workers to Commence Indefinite Strike on Thursday over Unpaid Salaries

Workers in Bayelsa State will on Thursday commence to an indefinite strike over months of pay arears owed by the state government.

This is pretty much as the 21-day final offer issued by labour unions to the Bayelsa State Government to pay all exceptional compensations and remittances slipped by on Wednesday. The state Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) had issued a final proposal to the administration on Thursday, April 28, 2016.
