Lekan Shonde the alleged wife-killer caught

Mr. Lekan Shonde who has been on the run for the alleged killing of his wife, has been arrested.

The circumstance under which he was arrested was not clear.

While the police claimed that he was tracked down and arrested, The PUNCH reported that the fugitive voluntarily surrendered himself to the police.

The fugitive had  boasted earlier today that he could hide in Lagos for 30 years without being apprehended.

The Punch, quoting  police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, said  he will be transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation at Panti.
