Commercial Bus Driver Crushes Baby As Mother Injured Over N150 Change (Photos)
A nursing mother was seriouslly harmed and her infant crushed to death on Wednesday, June 15, after they were struck by a business transport along Makurdi-Gboko road, Benue over N150 change.
As indicated by the child's dad, Senator Anuum, his wife had boarded the vehicle with their child strapped to her back, from the second entryway of the Benue State University (BSU) to Coca-Cola intersection. When she got to her destination, she gave the transport conductor a N200 note. She should be given a parity of N150 yet the conductor cannot.
"The mother and her infant, who she carried at her back, were the remaining passengers at that time. The conductor did not have any desire to give her the change and they drove off, in the process she got the conductor that was at that point on the moving vehicle, with her infant at the back and she lost balance, fell down and was dragged on the road till the baby fell off from her back, in between the back wheels and was smashed. The baby died instantly and the driver and the conductor drove off," Anuum described
