Shocking! 12 dead after consuming bootleg alcohol

Twelve men have lost their lives in the wake of drinking bootleg alcohol, Indonesian police said on Tuesday.

The casualties kicked the bucket in Bantul region in the fundamental island of Java lately, said neighborhood police representative Anny Pudjiastuti.

Four other individuals are in hospital in the wake of drinking the alcohol, she said.

A man associated with offering the liquor has been captured in Bantul, which is in Central Java, and 81 bottles of alcohol appropriated.

"The suspect could be charged of creating demise and could be imprisoned for 15 to 20 years," said Pudjiastuti.

Police said they were still investigating what the bootleg alcohol contained.

There have been a many cases of individuals dying of bootleg liquor. In February 26 individuals in Sleman region beside Bantul died in the wake of expending consuming locally-bought homebrew.
