Nigerian Sues Rihanna and Jay Z for snubbing show after cash was paid

Rihanna and Jay Z, who runs Roc Nation, are being sued for collecting cash for a show she never turned up.

The vocalist, 28, was booked to perform a show in Nigeria by Chris Ubosi and his radio station Megalectrics back in May 2013, TMZ reported.

Ubosi claims he made an arrangement with two people who spoke to Rihanna, Roc Nation and Jay Z with the guarantee that she would be paid $425,000 for a 65-minute execution at the elegant Eko Hotel in Lagos. The promoter hacked up $160,000 in three portions yet then he asserts her kin requested that push back the show to July. As indicated by TMZ, Ubosi conceded to the condition that Rihanna inform her fans of the date switch via social media.

DailyMail.com has contacted Rihanna's representatives for comment.

In his claim recorded in Manhattan Supreme Court, Rihanna never mentioned the change on social media thus he and Megalectrics 'requested the full refund of their cash,' the claim says. Ubosi claims he never recovered the $160k development as he's taking Rihanna to court.

Rihanna and her camp, then again, are stating Ubosi was a victim of fraud and that they had nothing to do with this arrangement. Rihanna, Roc Nation nor anybody related by and by or professionally with either gathering was in contact with this individual,' a representative for Roc Nation told TMZ.

Rihanna is at present preparing for an Anti World Tour to promote her eighth studio album released on January 28 only through Tidal. Altogether, she will perform 74 appears crosswise over North America and Europe.
