Fidelity Bank MD Rearrested by EFCC
EFCC has supposedly rearrested the MD and CEO of Fidelity Bank Plc, Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo, regarding another lodgement of $153 million by a previous Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
This is coming scarcely a month after Okonkwo was captured and later discharged for professedly accepting $115m from Diezani for consequent payment to a few chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and authorities of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the 2015 general decisions.
The beset MD is said to have been in the EFCC confinement since Tuesday.
Despite the fact that subtle elements are still crude, Okonkwo is said to experience further cross examination with respect to the affirmed payment of the $153m for a year ago's broad decisions.
